What’s new and ready to test in the beta version of Wp Rocket 3.4 ?

Here’s what that gave me WP-Rocket

1. Support for the caching of images WebP : If your site uses images WebP, WP Rocket can create a cache file separated for use if necessary. This option is found in the Media tab.

What should you test ? Take a look at the documentation on https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1282-webp and see if use our cache WebP is appropriate for you. If this is the case, you can enable the cache WebP from the Media tab and check if it appears on your site.

2. Improvements CDN We have changed the way we detect the URL of files in the rewrite CDN. With this change, we should be able to detect all the elements on your page. If you previously used CDN Enabler instead of the function CDN WP Rocket, you should not need it.

What should you test ? If you use a CDN, please verify that all assets are served from your CDN, and there is no display problem.

3. Actions/additional capabilities are now available : See https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1280-customize-access-to-options-for-user-roles for more information on what is available and how to use it.

4. Ability to ignore query strings using the plugin help : See https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1281-customize-query-string-caching for more information.

5. Compatibility Chrome Native LazyLoad : Native LazyLoad will automatically be applied in the browsers Chrome compatible. All others will be automatic
